Typical Deployment Network Configuration Diagrams

Here are several typical deployment scenarios for MyWorkDrive server in the enterprise network topology.  Please refer to the Server Setup Guide for specific installation requirements and instructions.

Simple/Standard

In the most basic model, MyWorkDrive server is installed on the LAN, alongside your Active Directory Server and File Server.  In this scenario you need only open the appropriate ports to the internet for the server.

Web Application Proxy

MyWorkDrive can be installed behind a Web Application Proxy.  There are no special requirements for MyWorkDrive as compared to any other server.  Internal DNS must be correctly set and the appropriate SSL certificates loaded.

Cluster / Load Balance

My Work Drive can be installed in a cluster/load balance environment.  Please see the Clustering & Load Balancing MyWorkDrive Servers article for additional details.

Disaster Recovery

MyWorkDrive works well for cloud based Disaster Recovery scenarios.  Typically, MyWorkDrive is paired with a sync'd Active Directory and File Shares - all, recent or critical depend on business needs, in standby mode as demonstrated in this Azure example.

Clients in Florida preparing for hurricane season and Canada dealing with winter blizzards have setups like these ready to go in case their on premise infrastructure is rendered unavailable.
